MuniPaaS is seeking a Salesforce Delivery Lead to drive the planning, execution, and oversight of Salesforce-based digital service solutions for municipal and broader public sector clients.

This role sits at the intersection of delivery leadership, technical architecture, and stakeholder strategy. You’ll be responsible for ensuring solutions are technically sound, aligned with client goals, scalable for growth, and delivered without drama. You’ll be part architect, part project manager, part trusted advisor and occasionally, the person who pulls the fire alarm and puts it out.

You should be equally comfortable mapping out a complex data model, running a sprint review, or walking a CIO through phased delivery planning. If you speak both Flow Builder and Steering Committee Meeting, you’re in the right place.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Client Alignment

  • Serve as the primary strategic lead on key projects, ensuring client goals, solution architecture, and delivery plans are tightly aligned from day one
  • Translate complex municipal requirements into executable work plans and scalable technical solutions using Salesforce Public Sector Solutions and Service Cloud
  • Collaborate with municipal stakeholders to define measurable outcomes, success criteria, and phased implementation roadmaps

Solution Oversight and Architecture Coordination

  • Lead solution design workshops and ensure high-level architecture aligns with both short-term project objectives and long-term municipal digital service strategies
  • Work closely with Salesforce architects and developers to ensure technical decisions support business outcomes, integration needs, and compliance requirements
  • Manage and prioritize technical risks, integration dependencies, and cross-system impacts during delivery

Project Delivery Leadership

  • Drive project delivery across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and budgets are met while preserving solution quality and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Maintain tight control of delivery scope, proactively negotiating changes and managing expectations with clarity and diplomacy
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management activities with a firm but flexible approach

Governance, QA, and Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure adherence to delivery best practices, municipal security and compliance such as AODA and WCAG, and MuniPaaS’s internal quality standards
  • Conduct solution reviews and ensure that the architecture supports performance, scalability, and user adoption
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in methodology, architecture patterns, or reusable components and work with the team to implement them

Team Collaboration and Leadership

  • Provide mentorship to technical consultants and junior project leads
  • Promote a culture of accountability, knowledge-sharing, and continuous learning
  • Serve as the connective tissue across internal teams such as tech, UX, QA, and data and external client stakeholders

Qualifications

Required

  • 6 or more years of combined experience in Salesforce delivery, including project management, business analysis, and solution architecture roles
  • Proven track record delivering Salesforce-based solutions across Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Public Sector Solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex municipal or enterprise client projects end-to-end across planning, execution, delivery, and support
  • Strong technical literacy in Salesforce platform capabilities including Flows, Lightning components, integrations, data modelling, and declarative automation
  • Experience overseeing multi-system integrations including GIS, ERP, document management, and legacy migrations
  • Outstanding communication and facilitation skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable leading technical and delivery conversations with senior public sector stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of municipal service delivery models and compliance environments such as AODA and MFIPPA

Preferred

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or Salesforce Project Manager certifications
  • Salesforce Architect certifications or active progress toward them
  • Experience delivering agile projects within public sector environments
  • Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps tooling such as Copado or Gearset and governance frameworks
  • Experience with grant management, permitting, licensing, or citizen engagement systems
